This position will report directly to the Chief Sales Officer.

As the Director of Inside Sales, you will provide leadership and guidance to a team of Inside Sales Account Managers to achieve quarterly and annual software revenue targets. You will also be expected to maintain a set of key accounts. The primary mission of this position is to manage the adoption and scaling of a unique and proven sales methodology.

You will work in individual & team-selling environments with insides sales, OEM partners and affinity partners. Sales skill development and employee motivation is key for success. This position requires a proven track record in sales management, software solution selling and an understanding of relevant software technology. This position carries team revenue quota responsibility and will receive a Sales Compensation Plan.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Driving the sales team to exceed revenue target expectations
  • Ownership of accurate and timely forecasting
  • Experience in recruiting & building a successful Inside Sales team
  • Supporting the Inside Sales personnel with on-going coaching and mentoring
  • Training and/or training coordination as well as sales skill development
  • Setting and monitoring performance metrics
  • Light travel at approx. 1-2 times per quarter
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years previous management experience in running an Inside Sales or Telesales organization
  • Preferred experience in managing within an enterprise software sales environment
  • History and proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding revenue objectives
  • Proven ability to sell software or high technology solutions for a minimum of 3+ years
  • Experience with establishing strategy and tactics for managing sales territories and sales teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, professional, ability to be flexible and self-sufficient
  • Strong team building skills
  • Problem solver, proactive management style
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally within company, team player
